Tokyo Hotel Horidome occupies an unassuming red-brick building with arched windows on the corner of a busy Tokyo intersection. The nine-story building shares the ground floor with an adjacent Japanese restaurant. Inside, the lobby area has a stark look with dark-wood paneling contrasting with beige floor tiles. Two long counters with dark leather stools offer functional seating, but there are no armchairs or couches provided for more comfortable lounging. A few potted plants and flower arrangements brighten the dark decor. The hotel attracts mainly tourists, especially couples. 

Tokyo Hotel Horidome is on the corner of a busy street in the Chuo District, about a two-minute walk to Kodemmacho subway station. A Japanese restaurant is next door, and the immediate area has many traditional restaurants, cafes, shops, and department stores (including Mitsukoshi) within easy walking distance.

Like many other budget hotel rooms in Tokyo, the 92 rooms at Tokyo Hotel Horidome are cramped, with beds taking up the majority of the floor space. Most rooms are Singles -- there are only four Twin Rooms with two beds, and four Double Rooms available. Rooms are decorated in a no-frills straightforward style, with dark-gray carpeting, beige walls, and minimal furniture. All rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, electric kettles, and free Wi-Fi. Japanese-style bathrooms are compact and fitted with molded plastic sinks and half-size bathtubs, electronic toilets, and large mirrors. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Several past guests have complained about hard beds.

Tokyo Hotel Horidome is a budget hotel with few extras. There's no breakfast service but free morning coffee and tea are available in the lobby. Guests can also use the microwave in the lobby. Coin-operated washer/dryers are on every floor, and vending machines sell drinks. In-room massage treatments can be arranged for an extra fee. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
