Southside Bed and Breakfast occupies a pale yellow Victorian-style house on a quiet residential street. Unlike many British bed-and-breakfasts, the Southside isn't a jumble of decorations, chintz prints, and overstuffed furniture. In fact, its interiors are almost the opposite: bright and clean and decorated in an uncluttered, minimalist and almost Spartan way. The spacious breakfast room is clean and comfortable with hardwood floors, wooden furniture, and airy white walls and curtains. A single black fireplace and architectural molding give a nod to the building's history. The overall atmosphere here is one of cleanliness and calm. This bed-and-breakfast is especially popular with vacationing couples.

Located on a quiet residential street, Southside Bed and Breakfast is near to Tenby’s shops, restaurants, and beaches, all of which can be easily reached on foot. The train station is a three-minute walk away, and the beach is just a four-minute walk. Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is a nine-minute walk from here. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is 49 minutes away by car, and the historic town of Pembroke and its castle are an 18-minute drive from here. Cardiff Airport is about two hours away by car.

Southside Bed and Breakfast has four guest rooms, one of which does not have an attached bathroom, but it does have a sink and access to its own private bathroom in the hall. Rooms here are bright, spacious, uncluttered, and exceptionally well-maintained. Decor is a wash of white: white walls and bedding, white curtains and lights, and white wooden furnishings. Occasional spots of color in the form of lavender pillows or teal armchairs make an appearance. It's not the most style-conscious look, and the beige wall-to-wall carpet can feel a bit drab, but it's homey and clean. All the guest rooms have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Blue-tile bathrooms are a snug fit -- in one case the sink is located in the bedroom -- and all have small shower stalls. They're stocked with no toiletries aside from soap, but all have towel-warming racks. Note, the guest room located on the top floor may not be ideal for people with mobility issues because of the many flights of stairs that need to be climbed. 

Southside Bed and Breakfast is a small property with few on-site features. A hot breakfast including Welsh specialties is served in the dining room, but it's not included in all room rates. There's a free Wi-Fi connection accessible throughout the property. There’s no free parking available, but there's a 24-hour parking lot located just next door with good rates.
