Scene

Beautiful scenery and refined country decor create a relaxing, elegant atmosphere

This cozy farm provides a true country experience with simple, elegant touches. The buildings are tastefully decorated with dark woods, upholstered furniture, chandeliers, and warm fireplaces. The grounds at Blackberry Farm are spectacular. The sprawling lawns, ponds, rustic barns, and babbling creeks, as well as the majestic Smoky Mountains in the distance, create a peaceful, serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the scenery from one of the many outdoor sitting areas, including a large stone gazebo with a giant fireplace.

Location

Located on 4,200 acres of land in a secluded area near the Great Smoky Mountains

Off a quiet rural road with houses and trailers, Blackberry Farm sits on 4,200 acres of gorgeous pastures and woods in the Great Smoky Mountains. There isn't much nearby, but most guests usually come to the farm to enjoy the property and its amenities rather than go sightseeing. It's about a 30-minute drive to Knoxville’s airport.

Rooms

Guests can stay in one of the various chic, private cottages or the cozy rooms within the Main House or Guest House

These luxurious, charming cottages are spread across the farm and offer a sophisticated, private place to relax. The cottages differ in size and amenities, but they all include plush, comfortable beds, large porches, stocked mini-fridges, flat-screen TVs, luxurious bathrooms with Aveda toiletries, refined furniture, and a golf cart -- or a Lexus car in the winter -- to get around the property since outside cars aren't allowed. Some of the cottages include fireplaces, whirlpools, Keurig coffeemakers, and fully functional kitchens as well. Guests can also stay in a room at the Main House or Guest House. These small, cozy units are individually decorated with a country-chic style, adorned with antiques, elegant furnishings, and charming details.

Features

Spa, two pools, fantastic restaurant, and various other activities

Guests at Blackberry can spend time riding the horses or visiting the stables, go fly fishing in the Hesse Creek, or just take in the gorgeous surroundings sitting in a rocking chair. Being that the farm is known for its food and drink, there are many culinary activities to partake in, such as wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, brewery tours, and gardening. And dining at The Barn itself is a true epicurean experience, and has been written about by some of the top food magazines. The seasonal, farm-to-table menus are served in a gorgeous, rustic setting that includes an 8,000-square-foot wine cellar.Another luxury of the farm is the beautiful, serene spa at The Wellhouse, which offers various treatments, yoga classes, and a fitness center. Blackberry also offers a family pool, a separate adult pool, a kids’ club, and several gift shops. Although the farm is billed as all-inclusive, there’s an extra charge for the spa treatments and many of the activities.
