Built in 2013, the hotel is an architectural and decorative work of art, with lots of glass and shiny surfaces. The 20 stylish rooms, which include smart TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi, follow either a white, silver, or gold color scheme (some might find the decor too blingy). Grand Luxury King rooms are spacious with big bathrooms, while Luxury King rooms are much smaller. Hotel 9, with its high-end boutique cachet and free breakfast, delivers good value when compared with other hotels of the same category in the area, but for travelers seeking a more central location, the Arcotel Allegra may be a better choice -- not only for its location but for its extra amenities, such as a restaurant, spa, and wellness center.

Some guests love Hotel 9’s extravagant style, but others might find it a bit over the top, especially in the rooms, with their bold gold and black. Clientele is mainly couples and business travelers -- several international corporations and banks are nearby, along with handy bus and train links.
