The Boutique Hotel Budapest is a modernly designed building with colorful artwork adorning the common areas. The hotel, which is under the Zora brand, opened in 2006. The exterior features large, tinted windows that give it a modern, sleek vibe. The bright lobby has crystal accents dangling over the dark-wood front desk and cream-colored leather ottomans line the hallways. Red carpeting in hallways and dark-wood doors also create a contemporary feeling. There’s a modern, small elevator and a standard stairwell.

The Boutique Hotel Budapest has a convenient, if noisy location near the southern edge of Pest's Inner City. It's about three blocks from the Danube River and the Fovam ter metro station, two blocks to the Central Market Hall, and a seven-minute walk to the Vaci utca thoroughfare. The area has its fair share of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Gellert Thermal Baths. The Shoes on the Danube memorial is a 15-minute tram or bus trip. Castle Hill -- the city's medieval heart, and home to Buda Castle -- and Fisherman's Bastion take 30 minutes by tram or 12 minutes by taxi. The Budapest Airport is just over 20 minutes away by car and the hotel can arrange transfer service for a fee.

The hotel offers Standard and Executive Rooms, all of which were renovated in 2011. Interior decorations include wood or parquet flooring, writing desks, purple throw rugs, dark-wood furniture, and tree-patterned wallpaper, and some have views of the Danube River. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with free Wi-Fi, small flat-screen TVs, hypoallergenic furnishings, minibars, safes, and luggage racks. Executive Rooms have kettles, welcome drinks, and chocolates. Brown tiled bathrooms come with hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and walk-in showers. Space is limited in rooms, but rollaway beds and cribs are available and there's one room that's accessible for those with mobility issues. Room service is available 24 hours a day. 

The 24-hour Araz bar has sliding glass doors, a skylight, a flat-screen TV, and comfy white sofas. The chic Araz Bistro offers street views from large windows and serves a free breakfast buffet in a dining room with cream leather chairs and booth seating. The spread gets mixed reviews; most find it adequate, and it does include both hot and cold items (both local and Western), but options are not extensive. More classic chairs and tables are available outside the restaurant in the hallway. The bistro also serves seasonal lunch and dinner options with a mix of Hungarian and international food on offer.

The hotel's modern meeting room is furnished with a projector screen and flip charts, and catering and coffee can be arranged for a fee. Depending on the layout, the meeting room can fit between 20 to 40 people. A business corner on the ground floor is equipped with a PC computer and secretarial services are also available for a fee. Secured parking is offered in an underground garage and there's free luggage storage near the front desk.
