Lupo Bianco is geared toward guests whose main goal is exploring the outdoors, and who are early to bed and early to rise (the bar closes early and there's not much to do in the evening besides eat dinner). An official Dolomite Walking Hotel right on the mountain slopes, the hotel offers guided tours throughout the week. Decor throughout the hotel is traditional chalet-style, featuring pine wood floors, thick beams, and hand-painted details on the walls. The setting and views are stunning; the chalet is on a pond and framed by dramatic mountains and forested green hills. 

The Wellness Hotel Lupo Bianco is located directly on the Sella Pass, a high mountain pass between the provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol in the Dolomite mountains. It's an hour-and-20-minute drive from the small Bolzano Airport and nearly a three-hour drive from the larger Treviso Airport near Venice. It's a 10-minute drive to the nearest town, Canazei, for bars or restaurants. Given its remote location, most guests come for the exquisite views of the Dolomites and the ski-in, ski-out mountain access.

The Alpine-style rooms are spacious and feature high ceilings, pine wood floors, and muted color palettes (often browns and creams). The rooms are traditional, with wide plank floors, lots of pine, comforters (rather than duvets), and a few custom details such as flower-shaped light fixtures. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge sparsely stocked with soft drinks, and a fluffy bathrobe and slippers. Bathrooms in standard rooms are small and only have a shower, but more expensive rooms have private whirlpool tubs decked out with colorful murals. Every bathroom features a bidet. Larger rooms have a sitting area and, while most rooms feature a balcony, Junior Suites do not.

 Lupo Bianco was among the first hotels in Trentino to be built as an environmentally sustainable building. There is an on-site bar and restaurant where breakfast and dinner are included, though the food gets mixed reviews.

The Chenina Wellness Center includes a small indoor pool, showers, saunas, Turkish baths, soft water beds, and fireplaces.

Part of the Dolomites Walking Hotels club, Lupo Bianco offers guided hikes and ski tours, free of charge, for all guests.

The small business center has a computer and printer.
