The Annex Copenhagen is a budget property on the outer edge of Copenhagen’s city center that’s less stylish and amenity-friendly than even some hostels in the city. The 89 rooms are private and colorful, though they all lack air-conditioning and some have shared bathrooms. Amenities here aren’t very impressive as the cold breakfast and bike rentals both cost a fee, but there are nice public areas, a communal kitchen, and everything is clean. About the best thing going for it is the less than 10-minute walk to places like the train station, lakes, and Tivoli Gardens. The popular shopping area of Stroget is a 19-minute walk away and the Christiansborg Palace is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Dining options are plentiful on surrounding streets, and there's a train station just a six-minute walk away. It’s about a 20-minute drive to Copenhagen Airport.
