Das neue W Hotel South Beach , das von dem Architekten Costas Kondylis entworfen wurde , hat endlich seinen Platz unter den Top-Designer-Hotels in Miami gefunden: Mondrian , Tides , Setai , Delano und Fontainebleau .

Der große, malerische Pool (WET) bietet eine fast einmalige Erfahrung von Komfort und Ambiente. Umgeben von dichten Palmen, bunten, squishy-aussehenden "Betten" und Holz-Gitter-Cabanas (die extra kosten), werden die Pool-Gäste von aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern bedient, die Ihnen schnell einen Cocktail oder Thunfisch-Tartar bringen, wenn Sie dies wünschen.

Obwohl es im neu eröffneten Entourage Bungalow , in dem den Gästen eine Auswahl des Lebensstils von Vincent Chase geboten wird, eine Menge Hype gab, sind die Standardzimmer des Hotels weit davon entfernt, glamourös zu sein.

Als wir letzte Woche die W SoBe Undercover besuchten, erwarteten wir viel – und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir testeten das Pillow-Top-Bett mit Bettwäsche aus ägyptischer Baumwolle mit 310-Count und bequemen Daunendecken. Wir fanden zwei riesige 37-Zoll- Plasma-Flachbild-Fernseher (einer im "Wohnbereich", einer im "Schlafbereich"), eine Kochnische im Zimmer, Bliss Spa Toilettenartikel, weiße Keramikböden mit Holzmaserung und Stein -Rollfotografie von Danny Clinch.

Sein einzigartiges Design orientiert die Zimmer in einem 25-Grad-Winkel und bietet jedem Zimmer einen Blick auf das Meer mit weichen Pillowed-Liegen auf dem Balkon.

Architektonische Vollendung und schickes Design sind verdammt, aber das wahre Genie dieses Hotels liegt in … der Minibar.

Ja, du kannst lachen, aber die hier gelieferten Accessoires sind kein Witz. Ihr Sub-Zero-Kühlschrank ist mit Soda, Bier und Vitamin-Wasser gefüllt und bietet viel Platz für Ihre eigenen Ergänzungen. Wenn Sie eine Gesellschaft erwarten, erwartet Sie in großen Flaschen im Wohnbereich erstklassiger Likör. Wer braucht schon einen Flaschenservice?

Zu den Munchies gehören Gourmet-Nüsse, gewürzte Brezeln, Gummibonbons und natürlich Dylans Signatur-Bonbons (hergestellt von Dylan Lauren , Tochter von Ralph Lauren). Ebenfalls enthalten: ein Kanister mit O + Stick Portable angereicherten Sauerstoff, EBoost Brausetabletten, ein Instant-XXL-T-Shirt (einfach Wasser hinzufügen!) Und nicht zuletzt ein kompaktes "Vergnügungsset", wenn man Glück hat.

Wie gesagt … Genie.
