It's a fine place to relax with a drink, and draws a mix of hotel guests and other tourists. Due to its central location -- East of Princes Street, and within walking distance to Waverley Train Staion -- Apex Waterloo Place Hotel is ideal for both leisure and business travelers. 

While nothing in Edinburgh is ever too far away, Apex Waterloo Place Hotel has a particularly central location. Located East of Princes Street, guests have direct access to popular Edinburgh Street, which is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars, and vibrant nightlife. Waverley Station -- the city's main train station -- is a quick six-minute walk from the hotel. The famous Royal Mile is an eight-minute walk, along with Old Town, Edinburgh Playhouse, and Carlton Hill. The Edinburgh Castle is eight minutes away by cab. There's bus stop right outside the hotel, as well as the St. Andrew Square Tram Stop a five-minute walk away. It's a 25-minute drive to Edinburgh's airport.
