Club Tuana Fethiye

Club Tuana Fethiye is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort with large grounds that feature multiple pools, a spa, gym, and private beach. Public spaces are bright, busy, and crowded with families and kids. The lobby has purple toned walls and a marble reception desk, and pink marble floors. The grounds are lovely with lots of lawns, ponds with ducks, and a variety of trees including palm trees. The pools and beach are often full and every lounger is filled with a relaxing guest. Kids run throughout, sometimes supervised by the kids’ club and other times by their parents. The restaurants have simple designs with wooden tables and chairs, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the themed restaurants get a little creative in design, such as the seafood restaurant with seashell displays or hanging nets filled with fake fish. With so many guests, it can feel a bit impersonal and wait staff struggles at times to satisfy everyone. Overall, it’s a busy scene and not one best suited to couples on romantic vacations. 

Club Tuana Fethiye has a beachfront location, and it’s surrounded by hotels rather than things to do. The closest restaurants are about an 18-minute walk away. With a car, day trips to major attractions are possible. The hotel is a 20-minute drive to Fethiye, for those who want a day to explore a city filled with restaurants and shopping. Butterfly Valley and the Tlos hilltop ruins take an hour to reach by car. It’s a 40-minute drive to Dalaman Airport. 

While most rooms are clean and contemporary with tiled floors, white, blue, and brown floral partnered bedding and armchairs, and soft blue statement walls, the Club Rooms are dated and slightly disappointing. Club Rooms have tiled floors, but fading floral bedspreads, old-fashioned wooden furniture, and colorful art pieces on the walls. Family Rooms include a large bed and two twin beds. Despite the difference in styles, they all have the same amenities such as air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes (that cost a fee), and furnished balconies. All lack coffee- and tea-making facilities and Wi-Fi. Bathrooms have marble sinks, shower/tub combos, toiletries, and hairdryers.

Thanks to Club Tuana Fethiye’s extensive amenities, guests can easily spend an entire vacation at the hotel -- which is good, as there’s little to do and see in the immediate area. First, there’s a private beach with water activities like snorkeling, diving, and equipment rentals. Lounges and cabanas are available on the beach. The hotel has three pools -- one of which is an adult-only pool and another that’s a kids’ pool. There are slides and water fountains for kids to enjoy. They’re serviced by a pool bar with international foods, snacks, and drinks. A spa provides a lovely outdoor garden, massages, hot tub, sauna, hammam, and beauty treatments, while the gym has cardio and weight equipment. Other outdoor activities include sports activities such as mini-golf, tennis, and volleyball. 

As far as dining goes, the hotel offers all-inclusive options. Breakfast is buffet-style with hot and cold items. There’s one main buffet-style restaurant with international options, and three themed restaurants that include Italian, seafood, and Turkish cuisine. There’s also a 24-hour bar with food and drinks available. Guests report repetitive foods and some poor quality.

Family-friendly amenities are plentiful and include a supervised kids’ club, petting zoo with small animals, game room, outdoor playground, and live entertainment at the amphitheater. Business guests can take advantage of public computers and two fully-equipped meeting rooms. Wi-Fi is only free and available in public spaces -- the signal is strongest near reception and in the bar. Other amenities include small shops and free parking on-site.
