Le personnel est généralement juste un peu mieux que ce qu'ils seront dans un an à partir de maintenant; il y a un rebond supplémentaire dans l'étape du groom. Hôtel: W South Beach Lieu: South Beach, Miami Prix: $ 658 L'étonnante nouvelle 312 W South Beach – situé sur la plage , à la périphérie nord de South Beach – allie le confort mignon, le design complexe (qui n'épargne aucune dépense ), et un service impeccable. Grandes chambres modernes; des terrasses inclinées pour surplomber l' océan ; aménagement paysager élégant autour de la piscine – même sans son spa (encore), le W tops les grands de Miami .

Hôtel: Ace Hotel NY Lieu: Midtown East, New York Prix: $ 219 Un hôtel branché dans un quartier unhip. Le design méticuleusement inspiré du vintage sera un échec pour certains – l'Ace n'aspire pas aux notions les plus conventionnelles de luxe – mais la propriété est aussi cool, confortable et invitant à sa manière que n'importe quelle fantaisie boutique du centre-ville de hipster. Les chambres sont un peu petites et dans certains cas sombres. Mais le service est solide et les tarifs très justes.

Hôtel: Mondrian South Beach Lieu: South Beach, Miami Prix: 338 $ Construit en 2009 et conçu par Marcel Wanders, le Mondrian Beach est aussi élégant que ses frères et soeurs South Beach, le Delano and Shore Club, mais il lui manque les clubbers hyper-up. Son service impeccable, ses chambres équipées de cuisine et ses after-party au Sunset Lounge attirent des célibataires bien nantis mais aussi des familles qui recherchent plus que le kitsch PG-13 de la plupart des hôtels familiaux.
