As its modern, glassy facade would suggest, Hotel GLO Kluuvi Helsinki  is chic and sleek on the inside. In the lobby, there's a glossy front desk for the well-dressed staff to stand behind, along with several soft couches and cafe tables beside a street-facing window. Throughout the hotel, white stone, glimmering chrome, Scandinavian furniture, and abstract art make for a stylish yet slightly corporate feel. The spa, too, is modern and somewhat minimalist, with dark tile floors and futuristic white loungers. The small restaurant on-site is branded with matching carpeting and ceiling lamp shades covered in the “G” initials. The fitness center is particularly impressive, with a wall of windows and wood floors; the equipment was renewed in 2012, and includes a variety of exercise machines. 

Hotel GLO Kluuvi Helsinki  is located in an excellent location on a pedestrian-only street in the city center. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, from Michelin star restaurants to fast food joints, and it’s down the block from Esplanadi Park, where visitors come to picnic and enjoy live music in the summer. Helsinki Airport is about 45 minutes away by tram, accessible under 10 minutes' walk away at Rautatientori stop; or about 25 minutes by car. The hotel can arrange for airport transfers by private car or van. 

Rooms at the hotel have pretty wooden floors and minimalist modern furnishings, like trendy, shaggy rugs and light-up nightstands. The color scheme is mainly gray and brown, with subtly metallic accents, and leather headboards. Guests can choose from a variety of room sizes; some are smallish, but suites with spacious bathrooms are available. GLO-branded soap and shampoo dispensers are provided in the stall showers with rainfall showerheads, and all rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, safes, minibars and free Wi-Fi. Gym access is free for all room types, though spa services cost extra. Cute stuffed tigers are placed in rooms, and available for purchase. 

Hotel GLO Kluuvi Helsinki has an impressive fitness center with lots of windows and a variety of modern equipment. The spa offers pedicures and manicures; body and facial treatments using ESPA products; and three saunas, including a eucalyptus-fragranced grotto steam sauna, a Turkish hammam, and a traditional Finnish sauna. The restaurant on-site serves international cuisine, including Asian and Nordic dishes, and guests can order creative cocktails, beer, and wine at the bar. For a fee, several in-room breakfast options are available. Free Wi-Fi is provided and can be upgraded for a fee. Five modern spaces are available for private events, including a video-wall room, and a "Creative" room with views over the city and an informal setup.
