Howard Hughes kept four bungalows at the hotel -- two as decoys, one for him and his wife, and one for his mistress of the hour. Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, after meeting on the set of Woman of the Year, lived together in Tracy's bungalow for the majority of the 1940's and 50's, even though Tracy never divorced his wife. Marilyn Monroe and Yves Montand also fell in lust on the set of the 1960 film Let's Make Love (co-written by her then-husband, Arthur Miller), and shacked up in Bungalows 20 and 21 at the hotel during shooting.
