While Embassy Suites by Hilton Louisville's rates do reflect its upper-middle-range status, its free cooked-to-order breakfast and free afternoon reception add a good bit of value. The hotel's 150 spacious suites come with separate living rooms and bedrooms, with a flat-screen TV and wet bar in each. Hotel features include an indoor pool, hot tub, restaurant with kids' menu, bar, and 24-hour fitness center. 

The nearby Homewood Suites Louisville East is pretty comparable to Embassy Suites, and often has lower rates. While it lacks Embassy Suites' on-site restaurant and bar, it does have a cozy lounge with a free daily breakfast and receptions on select nights (with free drinks and snacks), as well as a 24-hour pantry and free grocery-shopping service. The 100 rooms are modern and homey, with kitchens that are ideal for guests on long-term stays. In addition to a pool, hot tub, and gym (features found at Embassy Suites), Homewood Suites also has a basketball court and jogging track. Guests are also offered discounts to Fitness 19 gym, a five-minute drive from the hotel.
