This 44-room, upper-middle-range hotel is a short walk to the sights and shopping of this quaint coastal town in the Haute-Normandy region of Northern France. The hotel is a stone's throw (if you have a good arm) to Dieppe's popular pebbled beach and close to Dieppe's main historical attractions. The hotel is modern, clean, in a quiet area, and a very good value, but if you're fussy about your bathing, choose your room carefully (some have walk-in showers, others shower/tub combos). The Ibis Dieppe Val Druel is a comparable option in terms of size and price, but it's a five-minute drive from the beach and center. 

Le Flaubert is a charming, attractive, and quintessentially French seafront guesthouse overlooking a wide sandy beach in Trouville-sur-Mer. Its 32 rooms are bright and individually styled, some with balconies overlooking the sea. The mid-range property has no dining area or in-room refreshments, though does have a small bar serving cocktails and light snacks. Breakfast can be ordered up to the room (for a fee). For such an impeccably finished hotel in such a prime setting, rates are very reasonable indeed -- just get there early if arriving by car as parking is very limited.

Le Manoir Des Impressionnistes certainly makes quite an impression upon first sight: the 18th-century manor house surrounded by pretty gardens and ancient woods could easily be the subject of a postcard or a magazine cover. Its setting on a hill overlooking the Seine estuary is quite special, too, and some rooms enjoy lovely sea-view sunsets. The on-site spa in a converted farmhouse is well received, as is the restaurant that uses locally sourced ingredients. There's no pool, but rates are nevertheless reasonable for such charming package.
