Rooms have spare, streamlined modern decor and marble bathrooms with separate showers and tubs; suites have magazine-worthy style and free access to spa facilities. The location by Termini station is convenient for those traveling by train but less convenient for visiting the sights on foot, as many are a good half-hour walk away. Those seeking a similarly priced luxury hotel with a more central location may prefer Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George.

The Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina is a mid-range property just a few blocks from Termini train station, making the hotel convenient for public transportation options but not ideal for those who want to walk to Rome's landmark destinations. The 118-room hotel is modern and stylish with funky furniture and tones of gray and white. An on-site lobby bar and restaurant suffice for a quick drink or meal. Views of a concrete courtyard or neighboring building are uninspired, but people stay here for the clean rooms and access to Termini station.
