Guests at the Dazzler Recoleta are greeted in a futuristic lobby enveloped in a soft color palette of beiges and grays and full of geometric-shaped furniture and glowing light. Round ottoman seating looks like large, gray pods, while a column at the center of the space and one of the walls are covered with cool wallpapering depicting the folds and textures of linens. The breakfast room is equally modern and hip, with curved triangular windows along one wall that resemble like large portholes giving diners a peek at the outdoor pool area. Even the business center is trendy and futuristic with its dual-sided desk with ambient lighting, built-in magazine cubbies, and a swirling, gray-papered accent wall.

The hotel is located in Recoleta, a downtown Buenos Aires neighborhood touted as the “Paris of the South,” which still bears the hallmarks of its luxurious past -- French-style mansions have been converted into embassies and hotels. Old World meets new style as cosmopolitan high-rises share space with low-rise buildings bearing classic French facades. The hotel sits in an area rich with culture. The historic Recoleta Cemetery, Eva Peron’s final resting place, is one block from the hotel. Nuestra Señora del Pilar Church and the Recoleta Cultural Center are less than 10 minutes away on foot, and so are the French Plaza and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. The nearest subway station is a 15-minute walk away. Buenos Aires International Airport is a little under 30 minutes by car.

Rooms are sleek and modern, with simple contemporary decor and a neutral color palette of gray and white accented by purple bed runners and pillows. Black-and-white photography adorns the walls, while large wooden work desks have white lacquered tabletops that match nightstands as well. Other amenities include flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes, telephones, and free Wi-Fi, but there are no tea- and coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms are a bit small, but they feature attractive beige tiling, shower/tub combos, and bidets. Many guests complain about the impracticality of partial glass screens on the shower/tubs as they cause flooding. Rear-facing rooms overlook the Recoleta Cemetery and offer a quiet alternative to street noise on Las Heras.

The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool area in an interior courtyard that's covered with attractive natural stone and has several wooden lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs shaded by white umbrellas. There's also a fitness center outfitted with modern machines as well as a sauna. Guests can book in-room massage services for an added fee. A free breakfast buffet is served in the stylish breakfast room, or it can be delivered to guests' rooms; room service is also available. The hotel has a meeting room equipped with a projector screen, plus a business center with two computers. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and parking is available on-site, but there is an additional charge for the service.
