Inn at Laurel Point is an upscale property with impressive green features and a picturesque setting on a peninsula near the entrance to Victoria’s Inner Harbour. It's a good choice for both tourists and business travelers, as it's within a 10- to 15-minute walk of downtown Victoria and the Victoria Conference Center. It's also the first and only carbon-neutral hotel in British Columbia, and features a restaurant serving only ethically harvested and local seafood. The 200 rooms are divided into two wings, one more high-end than the other, but all have balconies, some with beautiful harbor views. Features include a glass-enclosed indoor pool and a sundeck in a pretty Japanese garden. Decor throughout the property could use an update, however, and breakfast isn't included in rates. The Parkside Hotel & Spa has a more modern style, but a busier location.
