With its cylindrical, somewhat old-fashioned orange facade, this large hotel is hard to miss among its tranquil surroundings. Interiors aren’t exceptional, as studded upholstered chairs at the restaurant and retro leather couches in the lobby could use updates, but the common areas are clean, with some interesting wall art and paintings that adorn hallways. Sea views are the big draw here, though, and the outdoor dining terraces and walkways are conducive for soaking in the scenes and sounds of the beach. With an overall relaxed and quiet vibe, the hotel is a popular option for tourists and families looking for a tranquil getaway.

The hotel’s quiet location at the end of a seafront promenade isn’t close to restaurants or shops, but the Platja de les Anquines Beach is a three-minute walk away. The nightlife and dining at the center of Sitges are a 10-minute drive or shuttle ride away. Other attractions, like the Church of Sant Bartomeu and Sant Tecla and the Cau Ferrat Museum are both 15 minutes away by car. Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport is about a 30-minute drive away.

The variety of rooms here is impressive. There are regular hotel rooms for one or two people and apartments and suites for larger groups and families. All units are clean and spacious, but the white-tile flooring and bulky and dated wooden furniture could use freshening. Rooms come with ample closet space and comfortable beds, plus beautiful sea, golf course, or pool views, which can be enjoyed from large balconies. 

Solid amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, safes, desks, and soundproofed walls. Mini-fridges, coffee-and-tea-making facilities, and free bottled water are provided, along with ironing equipment. Higher category rooms have additional living areas or bedrooms and come with the occasional second TV, plus full kitchens including microwaves, dishwashers, and cookware. 

Well-kept bathrooms feature painted tiles, shower/tub combos with handheld showerheads, bidets, and sinks with decent counter space and large mirrors. Hairdryers and toiletries are provided.  

Three on-site restaurants serve meals and drinks throughout the day. Both Acqua and Vento restaurants offer open-air dining. Acqua offers tasty and refined Mediterranean fare that's expensive, and Vento offers a casual menu of tapas and pastas, plus a cocktail bar. The Al Capone restaurant, open only in the summer, serves pizzas and wine. A breakfast room offers a varied buffet with several hot and cold stations, and it isn’t always included with rates.

A large outdoor pool is open during the summer, while the indoor heated pool is open year-round and includes a whirlpool. Both pools are clean and offer lounge chairs and changing rooms. Other wellness amenities include a gym with cardio equipment and individual lockers, plus a spa with a dry sauna and steam room in addition to massage and shower areas. The spa and gym are located on the hotel’s top floor, where an additional relaxation room makes for stunning panoramic views. 

Adults can enjoy a spacious reading room with lots of comfy seats surrounded by wooden floors and ceiling beams. There's a game room featuring table tennis, a pool table, and a foosball table. A supervised activity room is available for kids.

Other features include a convenient mini-market in the hotel’s basement that sells fresh and frozen foods, personal essentials, and newspapers along with beach equipment. Bicycles are available to borrow for free. Parking in the indoor and outdoor garage comes with extra fees. The free Wi-Fi is slow. Four event rooms can be used for conventions or weddings.
