Flowering bushes flank the paths between pale yellow and terra cotta colored buildings at the Electra Holiday Village. The exterior is scenic, with a walking path that leads beyond palm trees and down to the rocky beach area where guests can take in the views. The lobby is a simple space with high ceilings, tile floors, turquoise couches, and a bar. The hotel has an unfussy, comfortable feel, though there is some noise from children excited about the pools and water park.

The hotel is located near two other Aqua Sol Holiday Villages within a five-minute drive to the nightlife and restaurants in the center of Ayia Napa. It's a two-minute walk to a small rocky beach, or a 20-minute walk to the sandy Nissi Beach. WaterWorld, a water park with slides and a wave pool, is less than a five-minute drive, and Nicosia, the capital and largest city of Cyprus, is an hour’s drive away. The resort area of Protaras is within a 20-minute drive.

Rooms have outdated furnishings, white walls, and white bedding with brown and blue stripes near the foot of the bed. All rooms have flat-screen TVs and kitchenettes equipped with mini-fridges, kettles, and toaster ovens. Some rooms have beautiful sea view balconies. Guests report that the cleaning services could use some improvement.

The hotel has a huge pool and a water park where a mini lazy river snakes around the pool bar area and leads into the wave pool. A multi-lane slide and a big tube slide are among the water slides at the park, and a children’s play area has a play structure and a small pirate boat slide and seesaw. The hotel has a sauna and a small fitness center with treadmill, stair stepping machine, and hand weights. The colorful children’s club room has plastic picnic-style tables for doing crafts, and outside is a playground with plastic slides and monkey bars. An animation team provides daily entertainment for children. For dining and drinking, the hotel has a buffet restaurant, pool snack bar, and an indoor bar serving cocktails and coffees.
