Dann: ähm, sieht aus wie ein schickes altes Hotel mit vielen verzierten Details und einem Teppich, auf den man wahrscheinlich keinen Rotwein verschütten möchte.
Jetzt: Einige der Ausführungen scheinen die einzigen verbliebenen Oldschool-Akzente im Raum zu sein – obwohl die Bettwäsche aus dem Jahr 2009 und die flauschigen Kissen das Bett wirklich etwas plüschiger erscheinen lassen als Mad Men's Interpretation des alten Zimmers. Obwohl es schwer ist, den sexy Faktor am Morgen ohne eine nackte Frau im Bett zu vergleichen.
Dann : Deine Nase an diesem Kopfteil zu stoßen, hat wahrscheinlich wehgetan, wie? Außerdem: diese gestreiften Leinen sind ziemlich schick.
Jetzt : Solide weiße Bettwäsche (sie sind Frette!) Und ein stoßfestes Kopfteil scheinen viel tobenfreundlicher zu sein. Außerdem: hey da, Spiegel an der Wand.
Dann: Die Kunst dieser Suite sieht so aus, als wäre sie irgendwo auf der Straße in Manhattan gekauft worden. Die blau-goldene Couch und die riesigen Schnapsflaschen sind hier die Ausnahme.
Jetzt: Viel Glück, die richtige Stimmung mit den kleinen Flaschen Alkohol in den Minibars in den traditionellen Zimmern zu bekommen . Auch das Foto auf der rechten Seite – der Wohnbereich in einer Suite mit einem Schlafzimmer – hat nicht die gleiche stickige Polsterung auf den Möbeln. Und die Kunst sieht ein bisschen so aus, als wäre sie aus dem Magic Eye-Buch deines kleinen Bruders herausgerissen worden. Subtile Tapeten haben die grüne Farbe der 60er Jahre ersetzt.
Oh, und diese frischen Blumen sieht man in den Mad Men Shots? Das Hotel versichert uns, dass bei Ihrer Ankunft frische Blumen auf Ihrem Zimmer warten. Manche Dinge ändern sich nicht – aber hoffe nur, deine Lady hat keine Allergien.
