Las ofrendas en el mercado de agricultores del sábado en el San Francisco Ferry Building ahora son mucho más dulces.

El stand de Arlequin , dirigido por Luis Villavelazquez, chef ejecutivo de pastelería del restaurante Absinthe en San Francisco, ahora será un habitual en el mercado de los sábados, a pocos pasos del Hyatt Regency San Francisco , a partir del 1 de mayo.

El stand, que ya había estado en funcionamiento en el mercado de agricultores más pequeño del jueves, estará vendiendo productos como magdalenas malteadas con crema de plátano y glaseado Oreo; bollos infundidos con fresa y tabaco con crema fresca; rampa especiada y galletas provolone; y galletas de nuez de macadamia con chocolate con leche.

Encontrará el stand de Arlequin junto a la plataforma exterior de Blue Bottle Coffee , de 8:00 a 14:00 h todos los jueves y sábados.

Si le gustan las libaciones deliciosas, no querrá perderse "Berries, Citrus and Rhubarb", una divertida clase de cócteles en el Ferry Building, de 5:30 p.m. a 7:30 p.m. el 7 de mayo.

Master mixologist Scott Beattie conducirá una clase práctica para enseñarle cómo hacer margaritas de fresas frescas de mercado, mai tais clásicos y gimlets, y el maestro destilador Lance Winters, de St. George Spirits en Alameda, hablará sobre la micro-destilación . Il Cane Rosso, del edificio Ferry, servirá a los comensales. Si eso no es suficiente, los participantes se irán con un libro de recetas en la mano.

La clase se llevará a cabo bajo la Arcada Norte del Edificio Ferry. Los boletos cuestan $ 45.
