El Pinar Aparthotel is a beachside resort that caters to families and kids. Families tend to spend a lot of time by the outdoor pool and at the beach which can make for a crowded, noisy, and chaotic atmosphere. Despite the fact that a significant number of couples visit, the property is best suited for families. The hotel is far from luxurious, but provides a standard, clean design throughout, with some basic and aging decor. The peach-colored lobby includes blocky cream-colored sofas and a vending machine. Drawbacks here generally revolve around poor interactions with staff, especially for those who are all-inclusive guests. 

El Pinar Aparthotel has a picturesque location on Cala Llonga Beach. Unfortunately, it shares the small beach with other resorts and hotels, making for a crowded area filled with families. The hotel is well placed for reaching restaurants and bars on foot. There’s not much else to do in the small town of Cala Llonga beyond the beach or water activities. Travelers could drive 18 minutes to Ibiza Town, which has more shopping and attractions. It’s a 23-minute drive to Ibiza's airport. 

The apartments and studios at El Pinar Aparthotel are quite simple in decor, but pleasant nonetheless. The rooms are fairly clean, well maintained, and spacious. The units have glossy tiled floors, a blue color scheme, and basic wooden furniture. There’s little wall decor or accents to liven up the place. All units have kitchenettes with mini-fridges, microwaves, two-burner stove tops, sinks, dishes, coffeemakers, and toasters. Sleeper sofas and small dining tables are included as well. Air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs are provided in each unit. Bathrooms are pleasant and far more updated than the rooms. Bathrooms are kitted out with vessel sinks, showers or shower/tub combos, free toiletries, and hairdryers. Most rooms have balconies, and the best have views of the ocean.

The focus here is on families, and the biggest draw is that families have easy and direct access to Cala Llonga Beach. There’s also an outdoor pool with an attached children’s pool and plenty of loungers surrounding the area. It can get a bit noisy here with all the families. The hotel doesn’t have a spa or a gym, but it does offer kid-friendly features like a tennis court that doubles as a soccer court, a game room with pool and video games, and a snack shop to purchase snacks throughout the day. The on-site restaurant, Es Purchet, offers local cuisine, a bar, outdoor terrace, and all-inclusive options. Breakfast is served each morning and has both hot and cold items. Guests have complained that food quality is low and that they've been mistreated as all-inclusive guests in the restaurant and bar area. Sometimes the hotel offers nighttime entertainment in the bar. Wi-Fi is free throughout and there’s a public computer for those who need it.
