As its name implies, the Parador de Malaga Golf is geared toward golfers, thanks to its setting within an 18-hole golf course and available golf school. Most guests spend their days hitting the links, but a large pool, lounger-equipped green lawn, and sandy beach also get used. The hotel's design is mostly contemporary, albeit simple, with lots of neutral tones and minimal decorative accents. There are some furnishings that feel dated, but the combination of terra-cotta tiling, midcentury modern seating, and landscape artwork has a charming, local feel. The hotel predominantly sees adult couples, though friends and families frequent this spot, too. It's worth mentioning that because the hotel is close to the airport, arriving and departing flights are often heard throughout the day. 

The hotel sits along the ocean, a 20-minute drive south of central Malaga. The Malaga Airport is a quick six-minute drive away, but this convenience means that noise from planes can be heard often -- it generally starts in the early morning and carries on regularly until about midnight. Some have said it's a fleeting noise, though, and not terribly disturbing. Beach-lovers will appreciate the fact that the hotel offers direct beach access, so it's just a short walk out the hotel doors to the shore. Guests are also within walking distance of Plaza Mayor (12-minute walk), which offers popular shops like Nike, H&M, and Zara, as well as plenty of restaurant and bar options, too. 

Guest rooms at Parador de Malaga Golf have a contemporary and minimalist style. Midcentury modern furnishings, dark woods, beige-marble or terra-cotta floors, and neutral-tone linens combine for a clean look. Pops of green in fabrics and upholstery, canopied beds, and pieces of artwork add some charm. Some minor wear and tear is visible. All of the rooms come with furnished outdoor spaces, some of which provide lovely ocean vistas. Standard amenities include air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi (thought it's reportedly spotty), flat-screen TVs, minibars, desks, and wardrobes. Small sitting areas are provided in lower-category units, while bigger rooms add larger living spaces with sofas and lounge chairs. Marble bathrooms are lovely and have either shower/tub combos or jetted tubs and separate showers, plus free toiletries, hairdryers, and bidets. 

The premier feature is the 18-hole Real Club de Campo de Málaga golf course. A pro shop and golf course are also on-site for golfers. When not golfing, guests can utilize the tennis courts or large circular pool set within a lush green lawn. There's no space for loungers directly around the pool, but the huge lawn is dotted with ample sunbeds and umbrellas facing the ocean. Speaking of, the property has direct access to a long and sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas set up in the summer months. Unfortunately, there are no spa or fitness facilities here. The casual restaurant serves regional cuisine and food largely receives positive reviews, particularly the buffet breakfasts. 

An internet corner, meeting and event spaces, and lounge are also on-site. Wi-Fi is free but spotty.
