The Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort is a 273-room upscale property with a great spot along the beach promenade, though it's somewhat far from dining and shopping in the city center. The four-pearl ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas is one of Agadir's more upscale all-inclusive resorts, and family-friendly facilities are extensive alongside private beach offerings. The 406 neutral-tone rooms are contemporary and air-conditioned, outfitted with sofa beds, mini-fridges, and furnished outdoor spaces. Vast pools have shallow areas for kids, and are accompanied by lounger-equipped terraces. Several bars and restaurants are well-reviewed, plus there are a spa, sports facilities, and and daytime and evening animation -- the latter of which is reportedly mediocre. This property is pricier than the majority of all-inclusive competitors, so for a more budget-friendly vacation, consider the Labranda Amadil Beach. 

The 117-room Le Medina Essaouira Hotel Thalassa Sea & Spa is an upper-mid-range property with a large pool and a private beach about 10 minutes' walk from the old city. The hotel is part of the MGallery Collection, which emphasizes services for women, who get 50 percent off at the spa every Monday. Guests can also lounge in the sun around the massive wood pool deck, or at the beach on private beds with canopies. Guest rooms include balconies, and decor is done with handcrafted Moroccan furniture. With three restaurants and two bars, the hotel offers plenty of choices for eating and drinking. Service in the breakfast room can be disappointing, and rooms facing the sea get noisy. Guests willing to stay farther outside the city could try Villa Gonatouki, which is about the same price. 

The Royal Mirage Agadir is a 177-room three-and-a-half pearl hotel conveniently located for Agadir Beach. This family-friendly, all-inclusive property has smart, classic rooms with attractive views -- but some decor is on the dated side, especially in bathrooms and public areas. Facilities include two lovely pools, a large gym, spa with steam room, and tennis courts and kids’ clubs. The restaurant’s international buffets are decent but can get repetitive; breakfast is available until late. There’s a separate bar, but only a limited drinks selection and the evening entertainment is popular. Drawbacks include charges for internet outside the lobby, no in-room Wi-Fi, and charges for parking. The nearby and similarly priced Kenzi Europa offers free Wi-Fi throughout.

Located 50 yards from the beach and Atlantic Ocean, Club Val d'Anfa Hotel is situated in the vibrant La Corniche area of Casablanca, with its restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. While not a truly upscale property like Casablanca's Sofitel or Hyatt Regency, this upper-middle-range hotel has a distinctive Moroccan character throughout its interiors. Housed in two buildings, the 137 rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, and some rooms have ocean views. An outdoor freeform pool, massage treatments (for a fee), a sauna, Turkish steam rooms, several restaurants, and a nightclub with belly dancing add a resort vibe here, though Wi-Fi can be spotty, the breakfast buffet isn't free, and some rooms could use renovating. 

The Royal Decameron Tafoukt Beach Hotel is an upper-middle-range property, well-located on Agadir Beach's lively promenade. Minimalist interiors are classy, and many guests rave about the action-packed entertainment, though it typically is in French. All-inclusive rates include sumptuous buffets, an open bar, hookah lounge, and nightclub -- rooms above the latter suffer from noise. An outdoor pool, private beach, kids' club, and bright gym round out the features. The 241 rooms are a bit plain but contemporary, and come with flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and private balconies, many of which overlook the ocean. Travelers seeking a less activity-minded stay may prefer the beachfront LTI Agadir Beach Club.

Travelers looking for a more laid-back vibe should try the Sofitel Agadir Royal Bar Resort next door, which adds a nightclub and live music.

The 328-room Amadil Beach is a large, family-friendly hotel with a three-and-a-half-pearl rating and attractive all-inclusive packages. Its location opposite Agadir Beach is handy for accessing the hotel's private beach section, and on-site facilities include multiple pools, waterslides, adult and kids' entertainment, and both a la carte and buffet restaurants. The Royal Atlas is a four-pearl hotel on a scenic public beach, 20 minutes on foot from the center of Agadir. With a business center and meeting rooms for corporate travelers, plus several pools, a spa, live entertainment shows, and sunbeds for vacationing visitors, the property is suitable for all kinds of guests. The 338 modern rooms are clean and come with balconies. However, sea views aren’t always as advertised, and rooms lack coffee- and tea-making facilities. While there’s a full range of amenities here, the quality is hit-or-miss, and many come with strict time limits and extra fees, even with all-inclusive bookings. The Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa has better all-inclusive value, but smaller rooms.  

The LTI Agadir Beach Club is an upper-middle-range property with its own stretch of private beach. Old-fashioned decor throughout is dated and in need of a refresh, although Moorish touches provide some traditional charm. The 438 rooms are decently sized, and come with flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and furnished outdoor spaces. Upgraded rooms have living areas, and some overlook the sea. Packages vary from bed-and-breakfast to all-inclusive, and guests have access to an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and spa. Multiple restaurants offer varied dining, and the poolside buffet serves international cuisine. The bar's evening entertainment offers alternatives to daytime activities, but note, some amenities are at a fee. Smoking is allowed inside, which may be a pro for some. The beachfront Royal Atlas is more modern and has three outdoor pools.

The Atlas Essaouira & Spa is an upscale property across the street from the beach and a 20-minute walk to the tourist-friendly old city. A modern, sophisticated choice for travelers seeking a mix of nature and culture, the property offers a large outdoor pool, three international restaurants, and a full-service spa with hammam. The 156 guest rooms are chic and serene, with minibars and safes, while suites with ocean-view balconies are also available. The well-kept grounds, and vast common areas decorated tastefully with Moroccan touches for a stylish scene. But front-desk service can be a bit frosty, the housekeeping and buffet breakfast inconsistent, and some rooms slightly worn. Wi-Fi is free and spotty throughout. Guests seeking a homier vibe, with close proximity to the beach, could try the Riad Zahra Mogador about a half-mile south.
