The interiors are similarly simple and generic throughout, with a slightly dated feel. The lobby is large and airy, set with a few mismatched chairs -- including some with animal print and others in various colors. The restaurant has a bit more life in its decor, with paintings on the walls, plants, and a relaxed seating plan. The vibe is friendly and more peaceful and relaxed than other resorts in the area. The free popcorn and soda in the afternoons and free drink and light meal service in the evenings are often lauded by guests. While the location is ideal for tourists, the hotel has a slightly more business feel to it. There's more emphasis on the meeting and conference facilities than features for tourists. 

The Drury Inn & Suites Orlando is ideally located for visiting Universal Studios Orlando Resort, which is only a three-minute drive away (with free shuttle service from the hotel). The property is located just off the I-4, along a strip with several shops, restaurants, fast food outlets, and bars. Seaworld is 16 minutes from the hotel by car. Discovery Cove and Walt Disney World are about 10 minutes away. The Orlando International Premium Outlets are a 16-minute drive from the hotel. For public transport, the Turkey Lake Road and Majorca Place Bus Stop is a three-minute walk from the property. Orlando International Airport is about a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

The guest rooms at Drury Inn & Suites Orlando are simple and slightly bland in design and decor, with an autumn palette of greens, maroons, and browns. All rooms include green carpeted flooring, neutral wallpapered walls, abstract artwork, and white bedding and curtains. Most of the color comes from a floral-pattered bedspread. There are only three room varieties: Queen, King, and Suite. Suite's include a separate living area with a pull-out sofa sleeper.
