The Pefkos Beach Hotel is a vacation spot designed for swimming and socializing, snacking, drinking, and, at the end of the day, dining under the stars. The lobby is simple and white, to match the white stucco hotel buildings. There are open air arches and arched windows throughout the lobby and common areas, framing gorgeous views of the sea, garden, and mountains. Stone walls and stone or tile mosaics run throughout the property, reflecting the hilly landscape beyond the hotel's borders. The pool areas are crowded with sunbeds, some of which are worn and need replacing, but the atmosphere is so informal that this doesn't detract from the social vibe.

The Pefkos Beach Hotel is located in the seaside village of Pefkos in southeastern Rhodes, on a hill covered with pine trees, that offers breathtaking views of the bay. The closest beach is a five-minute walk from the hotel; there are a number of bars and tavernas two minutes from the hotel entrance. Guests can take a forty-minute bus ride to the town of Rhodes for sightseeing. Golfers can play at the Falliraki Afadou course, 25 minutes away by car. The immediate area offers markets, drinking, and dining as well as four lovely beaches.

Rooms at the Pefkos Beach Hotel, either studios or two-bedroom apartments, are spacious, with kitchenettes and balconies or terraces. Kitchenettes have two burner cooktops, tea kettles, toasters, and ample dish- and cookware. Renovated Superior Studios, up the hill from the main building and pool, are quieter, but guests with mobility issues may find the climb challenging. Decor is plain, and some rooms don't get much sunlight, but everything is clean, and balcony views are gorgeous. This is not a hotel for lounging in the room; as a base of operations for a relaxing holiday, it is perfectly fine.

The Pefkos Beach Hotel offers several bars, a rooftop restaurant, and Mingo's supermarket, the largest in Pefkos, for guests who want to cook or grab something to go. There is a self-service laundry room for guest convenience. The game room feels tropical, under a thatched roof with lots of plants, inside and out, stone walls, two pool tables, air hockey, and various arcade games. There are several pools on-site, including the Little Waterfall pool which is shallow and refreshing, a baby pool, a large kids' pool, and the central swimming pool, all with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Nostalgia, the hotel's rooftop restaurant, serves a la carte Mediterranean cuisine featuring local produce and native Rhodian olive oil. There are two poolside bars serving breakfast and a variety of snacks and lighter food, including burgers, pizza, pasta, and sweets. Both bars have several large televisions where guests can watch sports broadcasts. Quiz contests, karaoke, comedy, music, and other entertainment is offered throughout the week.
