The 120-room Bungalow Club Village has a homey Sardinian feel. Its low stucco buildings with terracotta tile roofs and brightly painted guest room doors are reached along winding stone pathways that thread through the hotel's lush tropical gardens. There's a sense of space and oneness with the environment that is strong at the water's edge, where, for instance, the solarium deck extends over the Mediterranean, with a ladder to climb in and out of the water for a dip. The restaurant's decor, with its thatch ceiling and whitewashed beams, echo the Sardinian feeling, as does the bar in its pavilion, where tables surround a dance floor open to the sunset and stars. Nothing at Bungalow Club Village is fancy, but it is all charming, with bright colors, flowers, lazy ceiling fans, wicker, and little touches that bring the unique spirit of the island to every nook and cranny of the hotel.

Bungalow Club Village is located about half a mile away from San Teodoro, a small Sardinian beach resort town. The hotel also sits right on Cala d'Ambra Beach, with its fine white sand and turquoise water. Diving and snorkeling, surfing, and other water-based sports are available a few steps from the property. The Olbia airport and one of the region's ports are thirty minutes' drive to the northwest.

Rooms at Bungalow Club Village are all at ground level with private entrances and a feeling of seclusion, as a result of being so spread out. Units are basic but charming, painted bright Mediterranean white with arty, country-style decor that includes colorful bohemian bedspreads, sun-themed wall sconces, and unique metal headboards. Basic rooms lack patios, but the other room categories do offer them. All spaces have ceiling fans and are equipped with AC, but there is a charge to use it in the lower category rooms. Bathrooms are clean but smallish with walk-in showers. Rooms could use a refresh as some of the coverlets and furniture look dated.

Bungalow Club Village has entertainment and activities programmed all day and evening during the high-season. Kids’ activities include supervised swimming and playground time. There’s also a reserved area of the dining room for children so that parents can enjoy a little one-on-one space while gazing out the windows at the lovely sunset. Evening entertainment includes Broadway-style productions of shows like The Addams Family and Mamma Mia!, among others, as well as live music and dancing. Fitness-based pastimes include scuba diving, snorkeling, beach volleyball, spinning, dance, and soccer. Tennis courts light up for night play. Late risers can get continental breakfast at the Beach Bar until noon. The spa provides massages and a hair salon.
