Considerable thought was put into creating a simple design with an overall beach-vibe at Bliss-Hotel Seychelles. This white boutique property focuses on the beautiful scenery of tropical plants and ocean views from its direct beach access. Most of the materials and decorations used in the public spaces and rooms are made of natural materials such as wood, shells, leaves, and coral. The lobby is small and has a front desk placed in the back. Cozy armchairs and couches take up most of the space. The restaurants and bars pay definite heed to a beach theme with sand floors, wood lawn chairs, thatched roofs, and large bean bags placed here and there. Guests report signs of aging, as well as cleanliness issues on the beach and in the pool. This spot is definitely a couples’ retreat and families are few and far between. 

Bliss-Hotel Seychelles might be too far off the beaten track for some, as there’s little in the immediate area to walk to. For instance, the closest hotel is seven minutes away and the nearest public beach takes 10 minutes to reach. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance. The beautiful North Point beach is a 28-minute walk away. Guests can enjoy a day full of restaurants and shopping in Victoria which is a 20-minute drive away. It takes 35 minutes by car to reach the Seychelles International Airport. 

Rooms at Bliss-Hotel Seychelles are split between Seaside or Hillside locations and Seaside Rooms have easier access to the beach. Interiors here are bright and beachy with a mostly white and brown color scheme. Furniture and decor exemplify rustic beach with pieces made of natural wood, and bowls of stones and seashells artfully displayed. Though they all have a general beach theme, the design varies from room to room. Amenities among all rooms include air-conditioning, minibars, kettles, and balconies. Some have flat-screen TVs, though all lack Wi-Fi, both of which could be a pro or con for some guests. Bathrooms provide showers, toiletries, and hairdryers. Some guests note low water pressure in the showers. Hillside rooms may receive bothersome road noise, while others might suffer from pool noise. Other complaints have included cleanliness problems and minor maintenance issues. 

The features at Bliss-Hotel Seychelles focus on beach and relaxation themes. The hotel has a private beach, though there’s reports of it being rocky and having a lot of sea urchins. It does provide excellent snorkeling opportunities. There are two pools -- one set in a tropical garden -- and another that’s a natural rock pool with saltwater and fish. The spa may be small but it’s breezy and offers massages and beauty treatments like manicures and pedicures. Although it doesn’t have a gym, the property does offer yoga and meditation classes on-site. Recreational facilities include a DVD library, island tours from the hotel’s private boat, and the scheduling of activities like diving or snorkeling. 

A diverse breakfast buffet is offered each morning for free in the Barefoot Terrace Restaurant. Tea time is free as well, and there’s happy hours in the afternoon and early evening. Local cuisine is offered for lunch, and there’s a seafood restaurant and a creole buffet for dinner. Half board options are available.
