This modern hotel stays busy year-round with Disneyland families and business travelers attending events at the nearby Anaheim Convention Centers. The lobby is bright and cheerful, with a classy and comfortable living room space just off the entrance with bright-orange, gold, and blue furniture as well as a large flat-screen TV. A display of books and magazines invites guests to relax and linger. A light-beige tile floors lead to two small wooden registration desks in front of a black wall that adds a little sophistication. The Bistro -- just off the lobby -- also has brightly colored furniture and a two-sided gas fireplace that helps create an inviting and homey ambiance. It offers lots of space and comfortable seating options, including stools at the bar and cozy, semicircular booths in one corner. Overall, the vibe here is friendly, casual, and relaxed.

The Courtyard is located about a 10-minute drive from Disneyland Park and a 12-minute walk to the Anaheim Convention Center. The Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) buses stop right outside the hotel and take about eight minutes to get the convention center and 11 minutes to arrive at Disney’s main entrance. There are numerous restaurants and other hotels within a few minutes' walk. The Downtown Disney District and access to Interstate 5 are about six minutes away by car, with the Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the Outlets at Orange approximately an eight-minute drive. Sunset Beach, Newport Beach, and Knott’s Berry Farm are 20 to 30 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. It's about a 25-minute drive to John Wayne Airport and 45 minutes to LAX.

Guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with contemporary decor including light-gray patterned carpets coordinated with gray drapes, bed runners, armchairs, and ottomans. Each room has a light-gray accent wall with circular leaf patterns. Furniture in a reddish-brown finish includes desks with ergonomic office chairs. Colorful photography of various city scenes adds a warm touch. Standard amenities include mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, and 37-inch flat screen TVs. Suites also have microwaves. Bottled water is included in the rooms, but it costs extra. Bathrooms are average in size and feature beige floor tiling, roomy tan granite vanities, magnifying mirrors, and shower/tub combos. 

Standard rooms are spacious at 420 square feet and have either two queen beds or a king plus a sleeper sofa. There are 18 Family and Kids Suites (620 to 650 square feet), each with two bedrooms; Kids Suites include bunk beds. Some rooms overlook the pool area, but most rooms have unimpressive views of surrounding buildings. Traffic noise is generally not an issue, but many past guests report being able to hear ambient noise from their neighbors in other rooms. 

Features of the Courtyard are geared toward Disneyland visitors and business travelers alike. The business center has a printer and internet access and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. There's also business space available for rent. 

The Market is open 24/7 and sells sundries, drinks, snacks, and light meal items. The Bistro is open for breakfast and dinner and serves food, cocktails, and Starbucks coffee. The heated outdoor pool is spacious and surrounded by a whirlpool, lounge chairs, and tables. Nearby, there's a patio with nice outdoor furniture and a gas fire pit. The hotel's fitness center has several cardio and weight-training machines as well as free weights. Secure parking is on site for a reasonable fee, and a guest laundry room is available with coin-operated washers and dryers is available for those who don't want to send their clothes away for valet dry cleaning and laundry. Other facilities include free newspapers and fruit-infused water in the lobby, and there's an ATM and a safe-deposit box for guest use.
