The Hampton Inn Daytona Beach/Beachfront is ideally situated in Daytona Beach and offers incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. The eight-story beige stucco building has a bright lobby, which greets guests with free coffee and newspapers. The lobby has beige tiled floors, a terra cotta accent wall, and a cozy seating area with neon green armchairs and colorful abstract art. On the first floor is a breakfast area with dark wood tables, orange-cushioned chairs, funky light fixtures, and interesting artwork. Outside on the beach side of the property is the pool area, with a heated pool and hot tub, and a staircase leading down to the beach. The pool deck has several brown lounge chairs and a couple of tables with umbrellas and chairs. The property often draws families and business travelers, as it offers features for both.

Just as the name of the property suggests, this Hampton Inn is located directly on the beach. The hotel does offer free breakfast, but for lunch and dinner guests will find several restaurants located within about a five-minute drive, including Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and Stonewood Grill & Tavern. Guests seeking attractions other than the beach can enjoy Boardwalk Amusement Area and Pier, Ocean Walk Village, Daytona Lagoon Waterpark, and Daytona Playhouse -- all located within a five-minute drive of the hotel.

This hotel offers mainly standard rooms that are typical for the chain. The only difference between standard rooms and suites is that suites come with a little more space and a sleeper sofa. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, and free in-room movie channels. The rooms also all have free Wi-Fi. The best views are on the beach side of the hotel, and these rooms also have balconies with chairs where guests can sit and soak in the warm Florida sunshine. Although the rooms are not decorated spectacularly, they do feel modern and inviting, with funky carpeting, dark furniture, purple accent walls, and crisp white bedding. The bathrooms are bright and clean with shower/tub combos and light granite countertops on dark wood vanities. 

This property offers direct beach access and a large, clean, heated outdoor pool. There is no on-site restaurant, but the hotel does provide a free hot/cold breakfast buffet with something for every palate -- and it can be taken to go. Other freebies include Wi-Fi, parking, and access to the hotel’s moderately-sized fitness center. There is also free coffee and tea in the lobby. The first floor also has a small arcade, a meeting/conference room with an oval table, and a business center with two computers and desk space.
