Housed in a boxy pale-pink building a few blocks from the beach, AzuLine Hotel Atlantic is family-focused, with a large, freshwater pool and a kids' pool -- be prepared for lots of children, who can be noisy. The lobby is bright and pleasant, with cream-colored floor tiling, a maroon accent wall behind the front desk, and a couple of seating areas placed along the floor-to-ceiling windows. Decor is contemporary but generic, with beige and light-gray couches, dark-wood coffee tables, and hospitality-style carpets in mustard and dark tones. Rooms, with blond-wood furniture and a muted color palette, mimic this run-of-the-mill style, but they're bright and spotlessly clean.

The hotel is located on a quiet street lined with pine trees and hotels. Es Canar’s main beach is a couple of blocks away, and there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Unlike other parts of Ibiza, Es Canar is mostly quiet, drawing families and couples.The local mid-week street market is the most popular on the island. The airport is a 35-minute drive away, and the city of Ibiza (Eivissa) can be reached in 25 minutes.

The hotel’s 123 air-conditioned studios and apartments have blond-wood furniture, beige floor tiling, and thin cream-colored bedspreads with light blue flower motifs -- decor is bland, but the units are bright and well-equipped, and include small flat-screen TVs and sofa beds. There's no in-room Wi-Fi. Apartments have separate bedrooms with sliding doors opening onto the living area, and Family Suites have two bedrooms and a second bathroom. Kitchenettes include stovetops, sinks, microwaves, mini-fridges, and toasters, as well as dishware and utensils, but full access to the kitchens is only for guests booking "accommodation only" (all guests can use the mini-fridges and coffeemakers). Balconies are furnished with two metal chairs and a table, and some offer partial ocean views. Bathrooms have shower/tub combos, and come with hairdryers, and basic toiletries.

As a hotel that caters to families, kid-friendly amenities are plentiful at AzuLine Hotel Atlantic. The kids’ club offers activities both indoors and outdoors for children four to 12 years old, as well as a kids' pool with an adjacent playground. In the evening, the mini-disco offers entertainment for children. 

The main pool is large, with lots of loungers, a few parasols (some guests complain there's not enough shade), and direct access to an indoor-outdoor snack bar. The gym is equipped with cardio and strength-training machines. There is a sauna and a whirlpool with cold water but no full spa. The restaurant offers a decent, changing buffet for all three meals in a bright space with dozens of tables. The hotel also offers free outdoor parking, and daily entertainment (during peak season only). Wi-Fi is available for a fee.
