The renovated Best Western Plus Krakow Old Town features a modern, bold design which may not appeal to all tastes. Decor throughout the hotel appears to have a modern take on the common '60s style, with jet black, white, and neon pink color scheme. Guests are welcomed into a narrow hallway featuring rose gold accent walls and a contemporary black and white painting on either side, with the reception desk placed at the end. There's a rather bold lounge area with pink carpet, white furniture, and a funky patterned wall and ceiling in pink, black, and white.

The restaurant features a monochrome design, with two sections featuring either black floors and walls with white furniture or white floors and walls with black furniture. The mirrored pillars and large mirrored walls make the room feel more spacious, though give it a slightly more cold feel. It's a completely different atmosphere in the Drink Bar, with jet black walls, clear plastic bar stools, and neon pink bar. There's also an outdoor terrace with more casual seating. Guests are a combination of business and leisure travelers, since the location and features suit both.

Best Western Plus Krakow Old Town has an ideal location for tourists looking to explore the city's main attractions. It's situated on a busy street overlooking the historic Planty Gardens. Several restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops are within the immediate vicinity. Both The Cloth Hall, one of the city's most recognizable icons, and St. Mary’s Basilica are about a seven-minute walk from the hotel. The popular Main Market Square is 10 minutes on foot and it's a 12-minute walk to the Wawel Royal Castle. It's a 14-minute walk to the Jewish Square and an eight-minute drive to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory. There is a tram stop right outside of the hotel. The nearest train station, Krakow Glowny, is a 13-minute walk away. John Paul II International Airport Krakow–Balice is a 20-minute drive, or about an hour on public transport.
