The meeting room exudes a similarly playful vibe, with an aqua-blue table and geometric shapes on the walls and windows. The lobby, breakfast room, and business center were all renovated in 2015, creating uniform decor in these areas. The same can't be said of the hallways, whose maroon carpet is starting to look worn and dated. The hotel draws mainly families and couples.

Holiday Inn Express London -- Park Royal is located in North Acton, far from the city center in the Park Royal area but a two-minute walk to the North Acton tube station. It's in a fairly quiet business district, with a few nearby restaurants but not much in the way of entertainment or shopping. It's a 25- to 35-minute trip on public transportation to London's main attractions, such as Buckingham Palace. Heathrow Airport is a 23-minute drive or a 53-minute trip on public transportation from the hotel.

This hotel has 108 rooms, most of which are well-maintained. They have the same color scheme as the lobby, but some of the rooms hinge on dated, especially when compared with other Holiday Inn properties in the city. Rooms are not spacious, but they have comfortable beds with white linens, light- or dark-wood furniture, carpeting, and often an abstract piece of art above the beds, along with desks and shelves. Some rooms have small sofa beds. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, electric kettles, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers, and air-conditioning. Lackluster white-and-gray bathrooms are functional and clean with shower stalls, limited counter space, and wall-mounted toiletry dispensers.
