Though a bit dark, the lobby at this property is large and filled with colorful seating, and serves as both the reception area for guests checking in and out and as a morning breakfast area. Tickets to the Disney Parks are available for purchase. Elevators and vending machines are nearby, and entrances to the fitness center, business center, and pool area are clearly marked.

Located right off of I-5 on East Katella Avenue, the Comfort Inn & Suites is next to a strip mall full of convenience stores, restaurants, and shops. It's a fairly busy street, but it's clean and safe to walk along. The property is a 10-minute drive or 30-minute walk to Disneyland, and the hotel does not offer a shuttle service. Along with taxis, public transport is an option, with both the 83 and 430 bus lines stopping in front of the hotel.

The rooms at this property are surprisingly spacious for a budget hotel, and have bright pops of lime green, warm wooden furnishings, and plenty of natural light. Rooms include either two queen beds or one king bed, and guests can choose between a view of the freeway or a quieter garden-facing room. Note that rooms near the breakfast area can be inconveniently noisy for late-risers. Some have views of the Disney fireworks show in the evenings. All rooms come with coffeemakers, microwaves, mini-fridges, work areas, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms have shower/tub combos.

In addition to free Wi-Fi and parking, guests also have access to a large, free hot breakfast in the lobby. A big outdoor pool offers plenty of seating and has views of the nightly Disney fireworks. There's also a meeting room and a business center with a couple of computers and printers. The hotel has a small fitness room with a few treadmills and a weight station.
