Before guests enter the lobby, the combination of the crown design in the marble sidewalk, the topiary trees, and the stone fountain all hint at the formal vibe of the Andreola Hotel. Past the revolving door, the lobby has more formal furnishings including marble columns, a classic, wooden front desk, and fancy seating areas. In the past, the hotel has hosted notable guests including Fausto Coppi, the bicycle champion, and Boxer Primo Carnera. The breakfast buffet is served in a classic room with floor-length curtains and checkered floors, and the sixth-floor restaurant, Stradivari, is an elegant space with views of the city. 

Andreola Hotel has an excellent location within a five-minute walk to Central Station. The station is served by the metro, airport trains, and high-speed trains to Naples and Venice. It’s also a short walk to Milan’s main shopping street, Corso Buenos Aires, and there are several restaurants nearby. It’s around a 15-minute trip on public transportation to the Duomo. Malpensa Airport is within a 45-minute drive, and Linate Airport is under a 20-minute drive.

Rooms at Andreola Hotel have the same old-fashioned feel as the rest of the hotel with furnishings like floor-length curtains, patterned carpeting, and chair rails. There are a range of color schemes including pale pinks and yellows and royal blue. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. Some rooms offer views of the city. Bathrooms have thoughtful touches like heated towel racks, makeup mirrors, and slippers, though some bathrooms have small stand-up showers. The flowery decor in the suites -- picture gilded furniture and shimmery bedspreads -- is a bit reminiscent of a dollhouse, and might be a bit too feminine or stuffy for some guests. 

Andreola Hotel serves a breakfast buffet including cold cuts, pastries, and fruits. There’s a lobby bar with a big window looking out on the street, and the restaurant on-site serves regional and international cuisine and offers panoramic views. Four meeting rooms are available for private events accommodating up to 100 guests, including one room with vaulted brick ceilings, and the hotel has an internet corner with one computer. There's no spa or gym.
