The Cosmo City Hotel has bright, modern decor in rooms and common areas. The modern lobby has bold, vivid colors and patterns -- picture purple and white patterned walls, gray chairs with pink throw pillows, and black-and-white carpets. Even the stairways are bold, with purple railings and matching runner carpets. There's also an elevator. Due to the hotel's location in the heart of the tourist action, most of the guests are vacationers rather than business travelers. 

The hotel is in the heart of Budapest on Vaci utca, a popular pedestrian shopping and dining street. There are hundreds of small shops, bars, restaurants, galleries, and theaters in the vicinity and it's well connected to other parts of town by public transportation. The Hungarian National Museum is a 10-minute walk away, as are the Gellert Thermal Baths (in the opposite direction). The Szechenyi Bridge (Chain Bridge) is about 20 minutes away on foot and the airport is a 20-minute drive away. 

The 36 rooms are decorated in vibrant decor. Pops of pink and purple stand out against black-and-white patterned carpets and painted walls. The sleek and minimalistic furniture is clean and comfortable and includes purple leather couches and hot pink upholstered chairs. All rooms come with flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and hairdryers. Interconnecting rooms are also available for groups and families. Hypo-allergenic bedding is available on request.  

Bathrooms in most rooms are tiny, as are the showers. Towel racks and makeup mirrors, however, are nice perks.

The Cosmo's limited features include a free breakfast buffet at the Grill Point, the hotel's classic restaurant with traditional dark wood decor and maroon carpets that contrast sharply with the modern vibe in the rest of the hotel. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, with an emphasis on traditional Hungarian dishes. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and there's a flat-screen computer for guest use.
